I am writing to you following your work from the Samdani Awards, which pushed curator-artist Riyas Komu to consider your work for his upcoming project “Young Subcontinent”. To give a brief background, ‘Young Subcontinent’ is a project curated by Riyas Komu for the Delhi-based organization, Serendipity Arts Trust, bringing together artists from the different countries within the Indian sub continent for an Arts Festival in Goa, India, in December 2016. Allow me to introduce myself as the Curatorial Assistant to Riyas Komu on the above project.
Currently, as a part of our selection process, we are familiarizing ourselves with young artists spread over the entire subcontinent. It will be great if you can share with us a few images / portfolio of works that shall give us an idea about your artistic practice. We would love to know more about you and your work, so please be open to share any thing that you may feel is appropriate.
